Fiat 500L, aux heater P0116

Hi,
is there anyway to use MultiEcuScan to tell my Fiat 500L -13 (1.4 95 bhp), that it is fitted with a auxilary heater?
Problem is that when the heater is turned on to heat up the cabin and engine (coolant fluid), the car gives a P0116 (implausable signal, engine coolant temp. senor) error.
I heard this is a common problem with some EURO6 engines with aux heaters fitted (BMW, VW, Audi etc), due to the ECU making a coolant temp check after car has been sitting for 7 hours.
Highly appreciated for the help.
