Does this application not cover an Alfa Romeo 156 V6 ECU from 1998?

If I install the software, set up the com port, and modify the adaptor (bridging pin 3 to 7) I still cannot connect to turn of the light on the dashboard. I can connect to the ECU if I lie and tell the software I am connecting to a 2.0 Twinspark, and I can then turn actuators on and off and also read/clear fault codes. But I cannot access the airbag ECU, and I do not understand the difference between the choices listed between airbag ecu's?

Just try all of the different airbag ecu's till you get connected. In my case none of the listed airbag ecu's work. Some '98 156 use even older ecu's wich are not supported (yet).

I take it all back - this is great software. My soldering was to blame - I had modded my cable and one of the joints had failed. I resoldered the connection, and the software turned the warning lamp out in an instant.
