Key programming security acces failure
Posted: 22 Feb 2016, 08:01
Hi,
While being new to this forum I've been using MES for a couple of years now in my shop and it has been working great so far. However finding out that suddenly the key programming function doesnt work anymore is unfortunate. It has been working in the past but suddenly I get the same error "Security acces failed" everytime it try to enter the security code for a Alfa Giulietta 1.4 Multiair Turbo from 2012. I get a different error when i purpously enter the wrong code, thats just to tell me i've entered the wrong one. But I'm 100% positive that its the right code for the car as i've tried it with 2 different cars with their own code from the same year.
I hope this gives a bit more information about the problem.
Regards,
Rik
Edit:
I forgot to mention that when this occurs I cant even enter a code, i just click on program key in addaption menu and it instantly give me the security acces failure code. I've entered the wrong code on a different car to see what the error message was.
