Multiecuscan

Hello,
I just bought an Alfa Romeo Brera 2.4 JTD 200CV.
I connect my multiecuscan to have a look at the parameters and stored defaults.
I notice a little difference between odometer indicate by Mutiecuscan ' 175000km' and and display value '180000km'.
How it can be possible?

odometer values are stored in one or more units/modules on modern cars.

For the Brera I see that odometer values are stored in:

o Instrument Panel
o Service
o Engine ECU


Which odometer value were you looking at?

It is not uncommon for Engine, Service & Instrument values to differ depending on vehicle make & model.

I would rely and accept the Instrument Panel ECU odometer reading if it also matches what is displayed in the car.
