The meaning of the error message.

When muliecuscan reports error "signal high" for the break lights, does that mean open circuit or what?

Generally, this should mean that the cable connection is disrupted
So the resistor is too high

The reason for error messages in the back lights was bad ground connection.
Had to make extra earth wiring to correct that. The back light connectors are
not sturdy enough for their job in the long run...MK
