Hi,

I already sent an email to the support with the purchase info.

Meanwhile I tried to install the old SW release with which I initially began. That is, the version which I used the generate the HW key for ordering the license key. It also does not work anymore.

Interesting fact: If I open the License Dialog in MES it shows a hardware key which looks completely different as the one I noted when purchasing the license. The behaviour ist the same for all versions I tried: They display a different HW key.

The HW Key displayed now looks like:
123456789012-12345678-1234
12digits - 8digits - 4digits

The HW key which was displayed at the time of ordering looked like:
123456789012-1234
12digits-4digits

I DID NOT change anything about the machine (laptop). It is the same machine, no OS update.
Does MSE utilize any services / drivers? I deactivated some services during a clean up session. But I cannot image taht this could influence the HW key read by MSE...

Any suggestions what could cause MES displaying a different HW key?

To conclude the topic:

We did not find out what caused the change of the HW key (determined by MES) on my system.
As pointed out above it is the same old laptop I installed the initial version of MES on. There was no Windows upgrade.
Nevertheless, one day MES started as "UNREGISTERED" and the HW key it read from the system was completely different (No. of digits).

However, Yanis' support was very fast: license transfer based on the new key.

...but you should know that if you previously had a lifetime FES license, after moving to new HW-Key you only have a 1-year license (carefully read the new activation e-mail) :/
