Stilo JTD : Inj correction not displayed

Hi,

I'm the proud owner of a Stilo JTD 115 8V put on road in july 2005 (but build in november 2003).
It's a 5 doors "berline" (not MW), 146.000 km (91.000 miles), it runs great.

For a couple of month, I sometimes have little "hick-ups" that do not last for more than 2 or 3 secondes and that are so little that I can't be sure of what it is. But I thought it could be injector troubles...

I will put some "magic liquid" (Bardahl Nettoyant Injecteur) in my gasoil tank, but before I do so, I wanted to record the "Inj. correction" for each cylinder.

But here is the trouble, multiECUscan does not display any value in the four "Inj. correction n°X" fields. "not any" means not even a "0" or "null", just nothing as shown by this screenshot:Image

Here are what the "info" screen displays:Image

I also clicked the "Scan DTC" button and copy/pasted its contents in a txt file :

Code: Select all

Scanning ...

Errors found:

COMPLETED
I also clicked the red "Report button" (and, Yes, I waited to be back home to reach my wifi connection before I click "Y" in the Send dialog form.

So, please help : is it a know bug ? Is there something I could do to have my "Inj. correction" correctly displayed ?

Thanks for your help (and for reading this).

Answer is very simple... :D
Bosch EDC15 engine control unit is not "programmed" to read "injection correction".
I have already wrote about this issue here on forum...
Later diesel models do have this option...

Maybe Bosch did not want to give right away to Fiat this option.
Maybe this option was to expensive at that time for Fiat.

Just remember that those ECU are developed before 2000.
From 2000 and late they have been installed in Fiat/ Alfa/ Lancia cars...

In 2004 I have bought myself a desktop computer and it was a model with 16 GB.
Right now I have USB stick 32 GB... :D :D :D :D :D :D

Sorry, I searched for it, but did not find (which would have been easier than writing my message).

Thank you for your help.
