Hello Alfamann

This goes with any version of Multiecuscan
you need a
KKL interface

and red adapter

- Install the software
- Install KKL Interface
- Install FTDI driver
- Check the settings
- Connect to the airbag controller.
- Read error
- Fix error
- Read and delete errors

- Same on the ABS control unit
only with green adapter

Greetings Eddy

Yep! Eddy is right!
You need a KKL interface and MES.
I think you can clear airbag errors with free MES version.

Hello Alfaman

I can understand that your knowledge of the use of Multiecuscan
not yet know much

But for that you need to have something to read
on these pages you will find some of this

If you have XP and normal USB port on those laptops MES should work.
Also KKL and ELM interfaces should work without problems.
Just install FTDI drivers (http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm) and NET framework (2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0).

I downloaded the ecuscan software and an icon appeared in my desktop, then I clicked on that and a box came on the screen saying it was preparing to install, but then it stopped another box appeared saying the system cannot read from the device. What's gone wrong I didn't have any interface plugged in??

First time to hear it. Strange...
I never had problems during installation of FES/MES... Really strange... :o

I did 2-3 times re-installed new windows XP on my laptop and every time did install FES/MES later on without any problems...

Sorry I do not know what could be a problem...
