Hello, I have a Fiat Grande Punto 1.3mjt, year 2006, that don't recongnize my original remote control
The remote control does not work by 15 days...I tried to change remote battery but nothing to do...

Do you know if Multiecuscan, on version 2.1, can reprogramming remote control like on Fiat Stilo?

I tried, but on Body section there is not the option at all... :(

Thanks

If in Body Computer in MES there is no that option for remote programing than it is not supported by MES.

Problem with Grande and other newer italian cars is that during key storage the remote is stored automatically. So you have 3 options:
- or go to official Fait dealer and paid for that service
- or go to someone who have equipment for key programing
- or try it woth AlfaOBD (read the instructions minimum 10 times).

Keep in mind that option for key storage in AlfaOBD software works only with original interfaces.
I have tried with clones and does not work.
Problem is very simple if connections is not good that means connection can brake and you can delete all keys. It is not good. Maybe at the end you have to buy new keys. Cheapest key for Grande is around 150 EURO. So it is better to pay someone to do it for you...

I hope you will understand now why Yani did not add that option for key programing.

Regards,

P.S. You need code card for that operation.

I don't think that you need to buy new key just because you remote control is not working.
Just need to pair it and that is all.

If the key can not start the car that is different problem.
Then you need to buy new key or repair that one.

Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if i need to open a new discussion about this, i will expose my problem:

In a Fiat Freemont, i had change the battery of one of the remote controls (it is also keyless).
After it, the remote canĀ“t open or close the car (none of the remotes work), but, i can open the car in the door button and also start the engine (without warning messages)...

Strange think this...?! is like the keys are working but remote open/close functionality was disabled or the keys are unpaired (both of them!!!)

Any idea or clue who to fix it. (i followed the procedure described in the owner manual, and there is no trick: open;remove old bat;insert new bat; close it. done)

Thank in advance.

Hi Again,

The problem is solved :)

Im not sure what was the solution it self, but now it works. So i will describe what i did...it could be useful for the future.

Yesterday, i use the car with the key, and as it do a lock at starting of trip and a unlock at the arrive ....with the key inside the car...i looks like it execute the pair or the key with the car....
Anyway, now the keys are locking/unlocking the doors remotely.

Best Regards,
L
