Punto Evo 2010 - Which MultiECUScan and which cable?

hello everyone.

im new here so ill start with a small introduction.
my name is Mozes, i live in Israel, and i own a 2010 Fiat Punto Evo, 1.4 8V, dualogic.

i hope im in the right forum, this topic didnt seem fit for the general area, so i started this topic here. hope i was right.

my problem is like this.

i want to disable the start & stop function in my car, permanently.
i understand that in order to do that i need the proper cables and the proper software.
i found this site - http://www.idiagnostics.co.uk/ - and i filled in the details for my car.
i got 4 results, and i dont know which one to buy. i was thinking of simply buying the most expensive one, because it seems it includes everything and the price difference isnt so big.

in these results, it says "100% MultiECUScan Coverage".
what does that mean?
which MultiECUScan should i purchase?

thanks in advance for your replies.

Hello Mozes

For your Punto Evo, it is relatively easy

You need an ELM 327 Interface and for some controls
in addition the yellow adapter.
The other adapter (green and red) you do not need for your Punto

That you can buy in your linked Store.
http://www.idiagnostics.co.uk/

Only to view the links of a dealer I know.
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Interface-AutoDi ... 257c25ea0f

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Adapter-A3-Multi ... 23293c4381

Compatible with Multiecuscan means to this interface were modifies
a CAN bus read error to get around.
With the normal ELMs commercially MES is not possible CAN bus to read data.

If you want to buy tested working interface you can check "distributors list". They have good interfaces.
You buy also interfaces on ebay. Some of them are good and some of them are bad.
Eddy have recomended one seller and I think it is good.
Recomendations from Eddy are always good not for me but also for other users.
I have bought interfaces from fuchs.de and did not have any problems. Would recomend.

Hi alfa156sarajevo :)

I have purchased many interface of different sellers, I also got some directly from China
Have never been able to notice a difference.
Therefore, it is crucial for me the price.

The Interface of Electronic-fuchs.de are certainly good, but also very expensive

Unfourtenatly I did throw away all ELM interfaces...
If I knew you can use them I would sent it to you for more testing...

Leider habe ich alle ELM Geräte wegwerfen...
Wenn ich wusste, dass du sie nutzen kannst, würde ich es dir für weitere Tests geschickt...

Hi

I converted to until 2 years ago to save the ELM and KKL to the adapter cable. Thus, I can say that the components used are often the same
Whether expensive or cheap Interface
