Hi I need some help getting started.
My car is 06 reg Doblo Active 1.9 Multijet 120 There is no such model listed What I'm trying to do is reset the oil change counter and time and Km to next oil change, so the "change engine oil" warning message resets. I'm using an ELM 327 1.3 which I'm assured has the correct resistors and is compatible with Fiat. I'm using the free version of Multiecuscan at present. I don't think its connecting properly to the car, I've checked in settings that its set for ELM and the recommended baud rate, getting error message to check these. I've also used the test button, that comes back OK, but reading through I see that's not conclusive proof that its working correctly and says the drivers may not have installed correctly, how do I check these? Is there a simple test to prove ELM is connecting properly or is it that my car is not supported by Multiecuscan? I need a starting point help please
