I`m successfully use the ELM 327 and connected perfect to my G Punto...BUT

I do not know what is the function and usage for the 3 colored cable...and how can I use it

and how can I find the procedure to reset and calibrate the clspeed transmission and all other calibration procedure like (engine, coolant, etc...)
Please any one can help

The brightly colored cables are to be there to be able to read on different controllers.

But for your Grande Punto you only need the yellow adapter
Since all controls are read at the Grande Punto with CAN bus.


You're using your ELM interface with the yellow adapter and choose for your vehicle, the function of service

For the Grande PUnto, Green cable is used to connect to engine.
Yellow for Body computer.

But MES indicate you which cable to use, when nothing it is the green

The green Adpater is for the pin 7 to the CAN bus does not redirect logs to see. (KWP2000, KW1281, ISO 14300, etc.)

The Grande Punto is only read with CAN bus (ISO 15765).

It should also go without an adapter.
