- I can connect to all ECUs on my '10 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 MA 170 CV except ABS using the ELM 327 ver 1.4b with adapter.
- after connect can analizator i sea:

I'm experiencing the same thing on several giulietta's, from 1.4 T jet tot TCT en QV.
I'm still working with 1.7

Hmm

All controls are read only!
only the not ABS?!

Have you checked the settings?
for example

Latency Time
other baud rates
other Com ports

It is worth trying it even once
if it helps I do not know.
