Hi
I'm trying to work out which cable I need.
2006 alfa brera 2.4 jtdm
the literature on this site says vag-com kkl but when I try to but one they all say don't work with Can-Bus (which I think the brera has)
does anyone have any experience of connecting to can-bus?

I have 159 2.4 jtdm 2007, should be the same ecu as in brera
First I tried with serial/usb adapter + vag cable with no success. Then I ordered a USB KKL cable from ebay by less than 10 euros and it works. First you should let the PC to load and install the driver, check from settings what port it is using, change one parameter of the COM-ports used (described in instructions) and finally it works. Sofar connection is possible with engine ECU only (ver 1.6)
