Fiat 500 Xenon light calibration

I just bought MES with the cantiecar interface and it's really nice, very easy to use and works great.

One reason I bought it was to reset the calibration of the Xenon lights on my 2011 500, as I've fitted a Bilstein B14 suspension kit so the car sits lower than original (at front and rear) so the lights are sitting a bit too low.

I am trying to run the System calibration when connecting to the left light ECU (the master) and it fails saying the conditions aren't met (i.e. car empty, lights on, no errors):

Can you tell me why it's failing? When I then look under parameters, the calibration status says FAILED, and the calibration values for front and rear sensors is still on the old (original) values. The lights position is 6 steps. I took the front page for ISO code etc:

The first MOT of the car will be next year, so I want to ensure the lights are correctly set before then. Do you know what is causing this?

It was my fault.

When I fitted the Bilstein dampers, I had the front suspension pushed down below full droop, which caused the levelling sensor crank to go over centre and then go the opposite way, so then it was fully at the lowest position (reading 0.5v). I noticed this because I had the car jacked up today with the wheels dangling and noticed that the front sensor reading didn't change, but the rear did.

Once I'd moved the bellcrank back into the correct position, I found the resting voltage at the front was 3.35v. Did a calibration and it worked perfectly!

So well worth checking if anyone has problems - check the readings change as you change the loading of the car before doing a calibration.
