Hi

I try to add a new command for central locking in my FIAT IDEA 1.2 16v 2004.

In fact I've got two keys, one with the command with the lock, one without. A few years ago i lost the one with the command. So I buy a new one (300 euros....). Last mont i found back the lost key.

Of course when i try to use it with the command, it doesn t work. I think the fiat team excluded this command.

I can't find a way to program it with my MES 1.4 (with ELM 327 1.3). When I connect to the marelli computer, no way to see it or this kinf of feature.

Maybe it's not working on this body computer ? Or maybe I'm a lamer

Thanks for your help and reading !!!

As far as I know programming (memorising) new or existing key in is not possible by MES and I do think it will be possible in the future.
The only thing you can do is programme remote control of your keys.

You can use other software, like AOBD, and they can do the job, but on some models you need original interfaces (not clones).
But the easiest way is to do it with examiner.

On some Fiat/ Alfa/ Lancia vehicles to program remote control you need to memorised all keys and during this process remote control is programmed.
Try AlfaOBD software, maybe it is supported with that software. But keep in mind that sometimes AOBD software is searching for some original interfaces so programing keys can be done. ;)
