Multiecuscan

I was trying to assist a local Alfa owner at the weekend, he has a S reg 2.5V6 (1998 model) and I was unable to link to either the ECU or Airbag system, but when I tried the same cables on my GT Blackline everything linked up okay.

Can anyone explain why ?
