Hello,

I had engine fault message and now there is warning light on. I want to read and reset the fault codes, but I'm not sure what do I need (cables etc.) to use multiecuscan on my car, because I believe it's not OBD2-compliant. Car is Fiat Stilo 2003 1.9 JTD 85 kW. I would also like to get more information what's happening inside my car via multiecuscan.

Can anyone help me?

Hello Molsbrov

This plug in your picture I do not know?
At which point the plug is to be found?

Your Stilo should be the 16 pin OBD connector to the left of the steering wheel in the fuse box

Your picture is in the engine room

You need an ELM interface and Multiecuscan to your ECU control unit / service, Can setup, body comp, etc. to read.

For ABS, steering, xenon you need this Aapter

So you can read all controls except the airbag control unit
this you need a KKL interface

Hi,

thank you really much for your reply. This plug is found right in the engine room, when looking in front of the car.

Thanks to you I was able to locate the right plug. It's indeed 16 pin OBD connector.

So this car is OBD-2 compliant?

Thanks also for detailed answers about the cables and adabters, it was really helpful!

P.S. I'm kind of interested what is that first plug? :D

Hi,

It just had cover on top of it and the cover was bolted on to the frame. So it wasn't really connected to anything. I didn't see where the other end was.

Will ELM-327 bluetooth-connector work on my car?

Hello

Your diagnostic port is inside the left of the steering wheel under a flap

There you can plug in the Bluetooth ELM

For me the plug from first post looks like (-) "minus" connector.
So all "-" wires are connected to one connector and that connector is connected to chassis with bigger bolt...
