alfa 156 2.4 jtd desired boost pressure 0

Hello,
I was trying to see if the turbo still works correctly on my 156 2.4 jtd 136hp, so when i tried to make a log with: rpm, desired boost and actual boost pressure i saw that the desired boost is 0 regardless of the rpm .If i understand correctly desired boost pressure should be the boost requested by ecu if so why i'm not seeing the real value?
I use elm 327 1.4 ,multiecuscan 1.3 .No errors on the engine.
Any help will be appreciated.

Your car does not use electronic boost control. It is controlled mechanically... so there is no need for "desired boost".
