Communication with AR155 Bosch Motronic M1.7 Injection

Hi all,
I tried to connect to my AR155 1.8 TS 8V (1994) using:
- MES v1.2 (free)
- VAG-COM KKL IF
- 3 pin FIAT adapter.
Theoretically it's equipped with Bosch motronic M1.7 which (theoretically) is supported by MES v1.2 free version. Put the IF and 3 PIN adapter together using direct +12V from battery and connecting to the ECU diag connector the red LED of the IF lights up, so the power supply (+12V and ground) of the IF seems OK.
The scan function cannot find any ECU. I've tried the interface and 3 PIN adapter for ABS unit also. The scan function founds an ABS ECU, but with (UNKNOWN/UNSUPPORTED) comment.
The VAG-COM KKL IF is OK, I've tried it on an AR156, it works. I've checked the 3 PIN adapter also, according to my measurement it is OK also (well it's not a surprise, because at least it found the ABS ECU).
For this 1.7 ECU should I use different port settings? Or what else can be the problem?
