lambda oxygen concentration

Post by ivan.jularic »

It seems that Lambda oxygen concentration (%), and lambda sensor signal parameters aren't readable (no values are shown when connected)
Fiat / Croma 2.4 MJET 20V
ECU Bosch EDC 16C39

Is this a bug?

Thanks for your answer.

Might not be a bug. I think that many diesel engines, unlike petrol engines, do not use Lamda sensors. However they do use one or more exhaust temperature sensors for both fueling and DPF filter regeneration/control.

Hopefully somebody with more diesel engin ECU control will be able to clarify/correct as appropriate.

As far I know diesel engines do not have lambda sensors.
Only petrol cars do have it. ;)
