Hello everybody,

I am new here to this forum. Recently i bought an ELM327 v1.4 and a KL they came with an red, yellow and green cable.

I installed the drivers. I am running win 7 pro.

When I try to connect to my '99 Multipla 1.6 16v multiecuscan comes up with an "no ECU connection" message.
There is during te proces only one red light on, on my ELM interface.
Contact is set to "MAR".

Can anybody please help me further?

Hello

Do you have the appropriate interface (KKL or ELM) set in MES / settings / interfaces?
Have you set the correct COM port?
You have set the Latency Time to 1?

Greetings Eddy

Hello berkel

Hmmmm? :o

Let the adapter cable away
and put the ELM or KKL directly without adapter cable

For your ECU you will need an adapter

And ABS and airbags are to be read only with the KKL interface.

And as a last option I can think of yet, try a different laptop.

Since the ECUs from your Multipla
Magneti Marelli IAW 49F Injection (1.6) | INFO | DTC | PRM | ACT | ADJ | KLELMOBDKey
Magneti Marelli IAW 4AF/4EF/59F/5AF EOBD Injection | INFO | DTC | EX DTC | PRM | ACT | ADJ | KLELMOBDKey

also work with the free version of Multiecuscan.

Still no luck.

tried different ELM adapters, other laptop, bunch of settings but i can not connect to my Multipla.

Can it be a driver problem? When i try to connect to the ECU nog other LED's on the ELM start to flash. I would expect that there would be some flashing lights.

Hello berkel

The green adapter for ABS, and if equipped, steering, xenon and some
further controls required.

To connect to the ECU you can use both interface directly.

Hello berkel

Does your KKL interface work?
