Hello everyone! I have a cable KKL / VAG got on ebay, one of those with the switch to perform the function of the three adapter cables. I have the full version of Multiecuscan and with this, I can connect to a the ABS control unit (by moving the switch to "1/9") and the airbag (by selecting "3" with the switch), in addition, seeking the ECU available, I is a unit of the air conditioner is not supported. Going to try to connect the two engine control, Magneti Marelli IAW 4AF/4EF Gas Injection for the petrol and Magneti Marelli IAW 4GF Bi Power Injection, for what concerns the CNG fuel.
When I try to connect to one of these two units, a message that says to check the COM ports or the type of cable used for the connection.
The KKL interface / VAG is on COM4 and is regularly seen from the program and the latency is within the parameters recommended by the software ...
I do not know how to get the idea that I have made is that the cable in my possession no longer performs the original function, but only those that would with adapter cables, so can not connect. Carried from Multiecuscan site, compatibility:

Magneti Marelli IAW 4AF/4EF GAS Injection | INFO | DTC | PRM | ACT | ADJ | KLELMOBDKey
Magneti Marelli IAW 4GF BI-Power Injection | INFO | DTC | PRM | ACT | ADJ | KLELMOBDKey
Magneti Marelli IAW 4GF BLU-Power Injection | INFO | DTC | PRM | ACT | ADJ | KLELMOBDKey
Bosch ABS 5.3 | INFO | DTC | PRM | ACT | KL 1OBDKey 1A1
BREED Airbag MY97 (3F-2L-I) | INFO | DTC | PRM | 3OBDKey KL 3A2
BREED Airbag MY97 (3F-I) | INFO | DTC | PRM | 3OBDKey KL 3A2

I need a 'ELM327 interface, in order to access the engine control?
Thank you all!

Hello

No, you need not ELM interface!

- Have you installed a driver for your interface?
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

- Do you have the switch on the control set that you want to read?

Greetings Eddy

Drivers are updated. Framework .NET, updated too...
The correct position of the switch should be the "7", but is unable to find the engine ECU in any position...

Hello Qarlo

Then it may yet lie only at the interface and should have an error. ?!

Get yourself still a normal KKL interface (10 €) and try again
connect to the ECU to produce

Greetings Eddy
