Demo mode for Lucas EPIC hangs MES

When I try to enter demo mode (Ctrl+F10) for Punto II '99 1.9D ECU it hangs the MES on CONNECTING TO ECU... and does not respond to [Esc].
Yep, it is a bug!
Did try it few times and problem is the same... Only in demo mode... Vehicle: Fiat Punto II '99 1.9D engine ECU Lucas EPIC (not '03 as it mentioned before)!
In real connection there is no problem...
