not connect to engine ECU

Today I tried multiecuscan on my alfa 147 jtd 115cv but does not connect to engine ECU, which is the problem? but works well with ABS and airbags

Do you have all pins connected in the cable? I think you need pin 7 for ECU...
And did you select the right ECU model?

can u tell me what do u mean whan you say " u need pin 7 for ECU"??
because i've a problem to connect on my alfa, u can see here :

update the drivers for your lead and reduce the buffer latency that worked for me.
