What is the use of the option "alarm mode".
Is an audible alarm? I'm afraid to play without knowing what it is.
I I have a grande punto 1.9 mjet 130cv. i am in Spain

"alarm mode" is used to set up the alarm on your car depends from which country you live in.
I can not remember but 1 is for EEC, 2 for UK... 5 - World, 6 - New Markets... something like that...
They are usually silent alarms and they do not make any noise.
Usually when alarm is activated indicators on the car are starting to flash and they flashing for about 1-2 minutes depends from the alarm mode (country) you have stored!
I think that you need a CODE card to do set up alarm mode...

It should work if someone opens the door or if someone tries to open the door or doors.
On Alfa Romeo 147 there are no any messages on the dashboard but on the Fiat Stilo I sow on some models that it displays something like "thief was here" or "Thief present" (I can not remember).

Choose what ever you want! If you have a CODE card just test all modes!
I think that I put mode 5 - World for my Alfa 147 FL.

Thanks again, if I have the code card, the problem is that law in this forum that in some cars to set the alarm gave error and could not remove.
