Hi All
my vehicle (alfa 147 2.0 TS) will not accept my electronic keycode for the vehicle. In the UK the code is not supplied with the vehicle and you have to buy it from the dealer. I have purchased it and the dealer is insistent it is the correct code for the vehicle on the fiat database.
I am pretty sure that the body computer etc. are all original and the keys are the original keys. Does anyone know of any other reason the code might not be accepted. Fiat ECU scan is communicating with the body computer as it is locking me out for 30 minutes after 3 incorrect tries.
many thanks
Paul

keycode not accepted
Re: keycode not accepted
Have you asked the Fiat Dealer to try the code with their Examiner. I think that is the least they can do as you have a problem with the ocde they have supplied.
If it works for them and they can prove to you that it works then it must be a Multiecuscan problem or a problem with your hardware.
