dasboard ecu connection failed

Good morning.
Having had a problem with my elm327 v1, 5 (solved by removing the resistance R04). I go well with all the modules of the software version 3.2 except of course for The ABS and power steering because I have not changed the wiring of the plug as recommended by connecting pin 1 and pin 9 with the pin 8. By cons I module does not access the dashboard. While the CAN modules, engine, structure, trip computer, service reset, work perfectly.
My car is a fiat bravo 2 MJET 105 DPF year 2008, in the technical documentation of the car the wiring of the OBD2 socket is indicated as follows:
Pin 1 - K Line Management (brakes "ABS")
Pin 2 and 3 - unused
Pin 4 - ground
Pin 5 - ground
pin 6 - B CAN B (I guess High)
Pin 7 - K line (engine management)
Pin 8 - K line (K line (trip computer)
Pin 9 - line K management (steering)
Pin 10 and 11 - unused
Pin 12 - K line - (xenon lights)
Pin 13 - K Line Management (pneumatic pressure)
Pin 14 - B CAN A (I guess low)
Pin 15 - Line L (onboard computer)
Pin 16 - + permanent
The wiring of the plug OBD ELM seems correct: (no change)
Pin 1 - not connected
Pin 2 - connected
Pin 3 - not connected
Pin 4 - not connected
Pin 5 - connected
Pin 6 - connected
Pin 7 - connected
Pin 8 - not connected
Pin 9 - not connected
Pin 10 - connected
Pin 11 - not connected
Pin 12 - not connected
Pin 13 - not connected
Pin 14 - connected
Pin 15 - connected
Pin 16 - connected
Do I need to connect pin 8 (on-board computer line K) to pin 7 ? as it is recommended to connect pin 1 and pin 7 to 9 in order to connect to the ABS and power steering.
Who can help me solve this problem?
Can you safely connect all pins line sets K ?
In advance thank you for your help.

If the wiring details you have posted are correct then you will have to connect Pin 7 to Pin 8.

Simple way of looking at this is that ELM and KKL interfaces only communicate with K line protocol on Pin 7 of the interface. If your car has a device using K line on Pin/Skt 8 then you will need to link Pin 7 of the interface to Pin 8.

The easiest way to manage all this jumpering its with dedicated patch cables. Another alternative is to use a patch/breakout box ( something like this http://www.obd2cables.com/products/cata ... image/276/ )

Thank you for your response.
But can i connect directly the all K lines on the OBD plug of my elm interface ?
Is this way not dangerous for the car ?
Thank you for your help and bests regards.

The reason why you cannot access the Dashboard is because it is not supported yet.
The modules listed in Dashboard section are the Connect NAV unit and the Blue&Me module (which is also called Microsoft Convergence).

For your car you can short circuit pins 1-7-9-12. Hoever, it is better to buy or make Adapter 1 and use it....

Thank you very much Yani !
I'll need to buy an adapter
or a breakout box. This will save me to change my
elm interface.
Again thank you for your help and congratulations for this
great software you have created!
Good luck in your efforts to always be
days of new car models.
Bests regards

You can only purchase a set of adaptors, instead of a breakout box. I have the same car, the dashboard is not fully supported but if you change the dashboard you can (without adaptors) set the mileage and services on new dashboard.

Just go to "www.ebay.uk" and in the search box type "multiecuscan" and there you can find few sellers who are selling adapters for FES software! ;)
