Dear all,

I'm a new on your forum and with this product and before to buy him, I would like be sure that i Can do some actions.

Can i switch off the air-bag warning ? (because, when i drive on the racetrack with my special seat, i must unplug the air-bag connecter and after i have the warning)

My car is a GrandePunto Abarth
i'm sorry, but i don't understand the explication about the adapter cable.
Must have a adapter 3 without pins 1 & 9 ?
Must i modified or not ?

Thanks by advance for your answers

So long as your airbag controller is one of the two on the supported vehicles list, yes the registered version of FES should be able to reset the fault codes and turn out the light.
I don't believe you'd be able to disable the warning light while the airbags are unplugged, but once all reconnected you should be able to clear the light.

You would need to use the Adaptor 3 cable, which diverts the normal CAN pins (6 & 14) to pins 1 & 9, which Fiat use for low-speed CAN.
You're better off using an adaptor than modifying a cable, as you will need your interface to still be able to communicate on pins 6 & 14 for some other systems on the car (engine, ABS).

Adaptor 3 doesn't have a short between 1 and 9 - it diverts pin 6 to pin 1, and pin 14 to pin 9.

The warning relates to modified interfaces or the Adaptor 1 cables, where pin 7 is shorted to pins 1, 7, 9 & 12 simultaneously - so you shouldn't plug an Adaptor 1 cable into a Grande Punto - the Adaptor 3 cable is ok though, and is required for several systems.
