I am new here. What is the difference between the ELM 327 v 1.4 and OBB ver 1.4. Because the latest version of Ecuscan scans with the OBD 1.4 everyrhing. Thanks for answer

The 2 are electronically different interfaces, which would support different software outside of FES.

The simple answer is that the ELM327 (even decent official units) are a lot cheaper than the OBDKey at the moment.
So you can buy a single OBDKey interface and get full coverage, or you can buy an ELM327 and a KKL interface, and get full coverage for about half to two thirds of the price.
