Read immobilizer transponder code
Hi yani
be recorded in the FES, here are the coding of the key transponder
and the reading of the Immulaisers?
Or you should buy it a separate program / reading device?
Best regards

Wegfahrsperre auslesen Transponder kodieren
Hallo yani
wird in das FES auch mal die Kodierung der Schlüsseltransponders aufgenommen
und das Auslesen des Immulaisers?
Oder sollte man sich dafür ein gesondertes Programm /Auslesegerät anschaffen?
Mit freundlichem Gruss

Hi
I'm also interested.
Because if I would, for example, my defective control unit to replace a used by the scrap yard.
Then should the immobilizer (transponder) and the odometer reading can be transferred to the used ECU.
Is it being considered in the future this may also FES?
Greetings Eddy

Hi,
I've explained this before .... but I will do it again.
The programming of the code 3 transponders requires special equipment. You cannot just buy a blank transponder and program it into the body computer.
The transponder needs to be preprogramed with a special code and after that you can pair it with the body computer of your car. You need a special equipment to program transponders. You can also buy pre-programed key from Fiat but that costs a lot.
Another reason why I don't want to add this function is that it is DANGEROUS. You can easily mess it up and end with non-functional keys. If anything goes wrong while performing the procedure your key(s) might get disabled by the body computer and you will have to buy new ones from Fiat (which is very expensive).
So, in short - it is not possible without additional equipment to program the transponders and it is a very dangerous function.
Getting a body computer from scrap yard and transferring the infromation from your existing transponders into that body computer is not possible through standard diagnostic protocol. It might be possible if someone reads the data from the eeprom of your body computer and program the same data to the new one.
Programming the odometer reading of the instrument cluster is possible (however you can program only higher value than the current reading of the odometer). This function is not available in Multiecuscan yet, but I may add it in the future.

Yes
it was a clear statement.
The add, change, I think KM was a good thing,
then you can adjust at least after the exchange of the Km counters the state again.
Thank you very much.

The best choice to program new key to Immo is MVP. But you have to be very careful to work with it.

I have a new one and I want to sell it. I am from Bulgaria. The price is 160.00 USD without transportation costs. Transponders for Alfa and other Fiat are 46 crypto II mode locked. At the moment no cheap machine which can read them.

About written above by Yani - Yani, you can do this like a option and it will be very helpful for us. And do not forget, you are not responsible for this, which somebody makes with his car
