Hi,
I have this issue...

FES, on my netbook, takes too long to start...but it only happens on my netbook! Not in my pc neither on my laptop.

1- On my pc it takes almost 10seconds, it's an amd athlon 7850 (dual-core 2,8ghz) with 1Gb ram running windows xp sp3 32bit.
2- On my laptop (acer extensa 5630) it takes about 15seconds, it's an intel core-due T5800 2Ghz, with 2Gb ram running windows vista 32bit.
3- On my netbook (acer aspire one 721) it takes almost 4 minutes!!, it's an amd athlon II neo K125 at 1,7Ghz, with 2Gb ram running windows seven 64bit sp1.

The cpu is not that bad, every apps run just fine..fes too except the boot time.

what could it be? or can i do anything to speed it up?

It is a known problem with Windows 7 x64.
I have already fixed this problem and will post an updated version in a few days.

Startup of FES 3.0.1 on Windows 7 is now very fast

On my Vista 64 bit FES now starts much faster
