Cruise Control Re-learn

Hello, when running the cruise control re-learn function it says:

"EXECUTING ADJUSTMENT...
Cruise Control Re-Learn
FAILED TO EXECUTE
Incorrect conditions to run this test"

The car is a ALFA 156 2.4 JTD with Bosch EDC15C7 CF3/EOBD Diesel Injection (1.9, 2.4) ecu.

What are the correct conditions to run the test?
The car has to be moving?

Cheers.

Well, the short answer is "I don't know"...
The ECU replies with error code "Incorrect conditions", but it does not give any information which are the "correct" conditions.
I think that the only conditions are:
- key on MAR
- engine NOT running

Any answer on this yet?
I've a 1.9JTD with a EDC15C7, added the CC switches and while FES (3.3) shows the switches working, I get the same "incorrect conditions" message. Bit of a pain as this was one of the main reasons for purchasing FES.

Maybe this will be helpful...
Anyway I tested some EDC15 C5 and EDC15 C7 ECUs regarding cruise control option.
On some models I found out that cruise control option in not written in an eeprom of engine ECU!!!
So I am guessing maybe some models really do not have that option because it is not written in an eeprom?!?

I am guessing that all Alfas 156 which have CAN system they should have cruise control option written in an eeprom?! :?

Hi when you say you tested some ECUs for cruise control option, how did you do this?
When running FES 3.3 I can see all the Cruise Control switches working as they should in parameter monitoring along with the brake and clutch switches that are needed for this option. It seems the ECU is correctly reading the switches. My car is a Marea weekend '01 JTD 110 and has what appears to be a non-CAN dash with an injector icon for ECU failure rather than the engine icon.
