Got the free version to try out. I have a Grande punto 1.4 16v and when i connect it says i have an invalid ISO code what is this about and i had to run in simulation mode?
Another thing the only feature to work is the error codes is that because its the free version?

For Grande Punto you may only use the CAN Info function, other should connect but immediately after successful connection it should show a message "FREE VERSION RESTRICTION / This module requires REGISTERED version!" and exit.

invalid iso code means that ECU is not fully supported/recognized for the version you selected on the main menu.
it could happen sometimes...try to reconnect...
or..if your ecu is a different version compared to the one shown on fiat ecu scan, try to find yours on another vehicle.
Just to be clear:
My father has a punto 2008 1.2 8v and my mother has panda 1.2 8v with the same engine ecu...
On multiecuscan I can use whatever i want of both for engine ecu because they are the same...
Speaking in general, if your ecu is different from the one described under "Grande punto 1.4 16v" but the same (for example) of "Lancia delta 1.4 16v", you can use the lancia engine section for your car.
It's not important which car you selected on main menu.
The point is the ecu/module you selected has to be the same of your car
