Fiat Panda 1.2 8v - what to buy

Hi Gurus
My EPS has been refurbed at BBA Reman.
Unfortunately I need to calibrate the EPS.
I don't have any scanner right now.
Will I be able to do a recalibrate using multiecuscan ?
What cable do I need to buy ?
I have attached a manual/DIY document on how to recalibrate EPS - But it is in German, google translate works OK for me.
Regards,
Mukker - from Denmark

Mukka if you got your EPS refurbed from BBA reman
it should be calilbrated, I have fitted these units
from them and never had to calibrate them just
fit, plug in, and drive. multiecuscan will do the job
great software to have

Correct, it should have been calibrated from BBA Germany.
But it was not. That is why they gave me a manual.
There was some errors on the dash (no hillholder and no ASR) - so I tried to Calibrate it, simply turning the steering wheel (without any connections and without the airbag) until the lights did not show, when turning.
If multiecuscan can do the job, I need a scanner
I have tried to google a little, there seems to be different models.
Which one to pick ?
And thanks for replying.

Hi,
Normally i use a home made kkl interface with the short circuit form pin 7 to 9 (or the 1 adapter) .. some time i also use the ELM interface..
If you only want connect to your eps, buy only the KKL interface is cheaper.. instead if you want to use Fiat ecu scan also for more diag. on your car or other fiat car, buy a ELM327 interface.. if you have some money to spend.. buy a full package with the KKL Cable, ELM327 and the 3 adapter and also a registered version of FES!!
If you have other question about EPS ask to me!!! I work a lot with all the fiat EPS..
Bye bye
Matteo
P.s. Sorry for my bad English...

Bye Bye

Arrrrhhhggg.
I need a cable adaptor between the Elmscanner and the OBD2-thing on the car.
Where the wires are connected like the ones shown
http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx (Fiat Panda). Something with wire 9
Where do I get the cabel adaptor ?

Hi,
If you don't want to modify yourself the interface by adding the pin shortcut, you could buy form GEDAM (
www.gendan.co.uk)..
Bye
