Hi Yani,
Just bought elm327 v1.4 and registered to FES to do proxy for my gf Panda 1.1. Reason is I added new instrument cluster (with revs) and temp reader in mirror and the milage is blinking. Done a test in FES for my elm and it sees it alright with good speed, but whenever I connect to it as punto 99 1.2 or punto 03 1.2 it sees it all but can't finish proxy alignment. Here's the log:

Re: proxy alignment for Panda does not work
Hi Abraa, Yani,
I m really interested on what you 've done.
I made nearly same modifications like you. I added a connect+ nav on my panda + new instrument cluster + new rearmirrors with temp sensor on it.
Informations i have by now is that body computer must ask instrument panel to screen temperature
I don't know if proxi alignement could solve it but i think so.
@Yani,
In your list of support vehicules, you don't mention any CAN proxi alignement procedure for fiat Panda. Is it possible to use proxi procedure/commands for Stilo's or Punto's on Panda to force BC to update ?
@Abraa,
When you said you ve changed your instrument cluster, are you sure that you get the high level of instrument cluster (big screen on it with radio tags) ?
This one is the only one which is able to screen temperature. (temperature sensor is only available when you have automatic climate control unit)
See ya

Re: proxy alignment for Panda does not work
yes, yes it's the right one... I also wrote down the serial number of it to check it against ePer, but I must have mistakenly hit wrong button on my phones touch screen cause I wrote down no 51759900 which ePer will not recognize. There is however 51759901 which should fit petrol model so probably my mistake. The reason I was checking is to see if the cluster wasn't out of diesel car or Punto, although I think Puntos have speedo on the right side instead. I'll try once more tonight if it won't rain, as I reinstaled drivers and set-up connection ports to 38400 baud in system management as I had this on 9600 there and 38400 in the FES. I hope this would work. I'll post the results if any. Yani, if you know anything, please post help anyway.
ps. I actually thinking if it's not due to cluster being from 2006 Panda, and car being 2004. Maybe some minor changes in cluster, and Body don't recognize it :/

I tried it again, settings were right, but no success. Test in FES pass good, recognizes it as ELM 1.4a, but won't finish proxy. One thing I noticed is that when I click look for devices after it finds ELM on Com14 it complains that response is slow. Maybe here's what's going on? Help me please...
