Multiecuscan

Hi.
My friend told me, that since he used Fiat Ecu Scan newer than 1.6 version he have a little problem.
When he used FES and turn it off, the RPM goes up to 2000 rpm (he doesn't push throttle button). This problem is at Punto 2 1.2 8v. Everytime he use FES, he's fixing this problem by disconnecting battery for a while.
Is anybody have this same problem?

did he use the FES while the engine is on? I hope not...

Anyway, maybe I got it once on my punto mk3 1200cc 8v..
But I just turn off the engine and start it again without any problem.
