The interface should be modified so that the CAN line is connected to pins 1 and 9 instead of 6 and 14.

May I suggest that the table of C19, ELM1 etc you have at the end of the supported cars table is moved to the top of that page.

The number of posts we see regarding what pin should be connected to what pin, even before the Croma EPS and later C19 is begining to get a little tedious. Most of them are due to people not reading all the info/pages before raising questions which are actually answered if they were to take the time to read a little further.

Probably the best way to solve this is to have a dedicated MUST READ page totally dedicated to the ISO diagnostic connector (I posted the Fiat one somewhere with pin-outs and protocols but I don't think this one even covered the Croma/Mito perversions) togther with explanation text that this whole area is a bag of worms and there are vehicle variations. Add to this the current known deviations/requirements and we may be able reduce the confusion/questions arising.

Sadly this whole area is not a "Plug-And-Play" but a "Plug-And-Pray" situation and it is evident that many people want to just blindly plug any bit of hardare in and expect Multiecuscan to work.

I think it is getting near the time that people are pointed to the "patch/interface cable" route to connect to their various cars/systems and not be encouraged to modify their interfaces. We have seen examples of people not being able to correctly identify connector pins numbers!

I think it would be a good idea to put these info labels (i.e. KL3, C19) in the program on the module selection list.
Eventually I think that it is better to require a modifications to a "general-purpose" interface cable than to produce a dedicated interface cable like it was done with AutoScanner Opel. It is a little bit DIY-like solution but at it is relatively inexpensive (even though - in Poland you can buy a "set of interfaces for FES", which consists of a KKL USB cable, ELM327 1.3 clone USB cable and EOBD to FIAT 3pin adapter for 120zł, which is ~30€) in comparison with AutoScanner Opel (380€ for CAN enabled version).

I made adapter C19 and without any problems I can connect to Grande Punto Body and Service Reset by this adapter. With this adapter I can connect to all cars in supported vehicles page. To make this adapter i very simply. You must connect 5 pins correctly in ODB2 Female and Male interfaces.

Thanks for the info! I know this now! 3 weeks ago I installed dip switch on my ELM 327 and I don't have any problems!
In the future I will make additional adapter wit the same DIP switch!
