i have little bit problem.i just to know about vagcom106.1 cable..i know this cable new and used dual K-line..this cable compatible with F.E.S or not? hope someone to help me:?:

You must use KL/KKL interface that work with older version of VAG-COM software ( < 5xx.x )

i agree with kdijagnostika
you need a VAG COM KKL 409.1 interface (cable) for FES software!

I am new here and to FES.
Will a Genuine VAG cable work on FES.
I have a HEX COM Intelligent Dual K Iso interface.
I have tried it but am having no luck communicating to a palio IAW 49F

I do not htink that your HEX CAn cable will work!

You need a VAG COM KKL 409.1 interface (cable) for FES software!

No, it wont work. You need simply KL interface that just convert voltage of logic 0 and 1 from computer (-5V - +5V) to voltage needed by car diagnostic port (12V - 0V). This is dummy interface without MCU or memory and can be constructed with few simple electronic component. HEX interfaces (original or clone) are more sophisticated peace of electronic and can be used with only one diagnostic software. This interfaces are in the fact small computers programed to get command from VCDS diagnostic software installed on PC, process it and send them to car computer through diagnostic link conector (DLC). When Multiecuscan try to send signal to car computer directly through HEX interface they cannot reach it because signal stop on HEX interface MCU chip.
