Invalid ISO Code

Hi!

First of all I would like to thank for this great piece of art which helps me diagnose and fix my great Fiat Palio Weekend Adventure 2003 1.8 8v :D

It has a Magneti Marelli IAW 5NF ECU, and I have been useing the Fiat Doblo 1.6 16v profile to connect. It seems to work just fine, parameters, actuators, including self-adaptation reset. Everything seems to work right (besides the km difference between odometer and ecu, of 2k+ km). But I wonder if there is something to be done to fix that Invalid ISO Code message.

I have noticed the reported ECU ISO code changes everytime I try a new profile (like Punto '03 1.2, or Stilo 1.6 16v).

So... no AT command I could do to find the correct ISO code and somewhere to edit so we can get rid of that message?

What is the ISO code of your ECU?

Hi yani!

Besides my mistake of thinking the ecu code changes between profiles, I tested again and could see it only changes between modules. (dunno why it wasn't so obvious for me on the first run).

The values I have are:

Code: Select all

     Engine 0D 07 B9 02 A4 Magneti Marelli IAW 5NF
  Dashboard 32 83 0D 80 97 Marelli Instrument Panel
       Body 40 83 07 80 1F Delphi/Magneti Marelli
The only two giving the Invalid ISO Code message are the Engine and Dashboard.

Car details are
Manufacturer: FIAT
Model: Palio Weekend Adventure
Year: 2003
Engine: 1.8 8V

Thank you for looking into ;)

Hi,

Are you sure that you have Marelli IAW 5NF?
I see that this ECU is for 1.2 and 1.6 engines.
I think that 1.8 8V engines have Magneti Marelli IAW 4SF which is actually not supported by Multiecuscan yet.
