Hi again,
I'd like to solder pins in order to read an airbags error.
in my cable, pin's numbers are not written on the plug, so I have photo of both sides of the plug.
can someone tell me what are the pin's numbers:
and what pins I have to cross in order to read the airbags ?
Thankes

As you look at your TOP picture then this is how the pins are numbered
a) The bump in the connector edge is located on the Pins 9 to Pins 16 side of the connector
b) Front LEFT is Pin 9 and Front RIGHT is Pin 16
c) Rear LEFT is Pin 1 and Read RIGHT is Pin 8
d) You currently have Pin 4 and Pin 5 linked (these are the signal and chassis ground pins)
As has been discussed, and as detailed in the "How to Use" (
http://multiecuscan.net/HowToUse.aspx ) then for NON CAN based systems then:
For Airbags connect Pin 7 to Pin 3
For ABS connect Pin 7 to Pin 1
For Body ECU, EPS connect Pin 7 to Pin 9
IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED to Connect Pins 7, 1, 9 AND 3 altogether at the same time!
7 to just 3 is OK
7 to 1 and 9 is OK

NO NO NO
Your 1 to 8 is ACTUALLY 9 to 16
Your 9 to 16 is ACTUALLY 1 to 8
Your red wire is linking 10 and 15 !

What type is your interface?
It is not possible to connect to the airbags with ELM 327 interface.

I have alfa 147 1.6 ts 120HP year 2002.
the window on connecting say that I have to use k-line/vagcom or odbKey interface.
when I choose k-line/vagcom there is no connction at all in any option (engine/service ...) and when I choose odbKey 1.4 every other options are working but the airbags still not connecting.
I'm sure I've solder it right.
