No way to read out selespeed on Alfa 156

Dear Yani,
I need your help on reading out the selespeed gearbox.
My car is an Alfa 156 sportwagon from August 2000 (no EOBD, the motor computer is Bosch ME3.1).
Bosch ESITRONIC reads the gearbox computer as CFC208f. Maybe the information isn´t quite correct.
Scanning with a VAG.com-interface and Multiecuscan 2.4 the Motronic is always found but NO gearbox.
Any ideas.
