its not working conection time out please help?
Do i need the car power for the test ( test buton in setup)

Same problem here with ELM327 1.4a, test in settings works fine. I don't have a timeout but i says to check my cable

While with KKl cable, it works fine

Today test. all ok.
ebay seller is ok.

Today I bought and tested the program with this cable works perfectly. (and the kkl)

1 question I have here an Alfa GT jtd of 2005 with 202,000 on the clock but the odo in the software gives 1.799.6 km? Software 2002 is also strange
What is the cause?
Please comment.

i have bought ELM 327 1.4+ as on picture downside.
this device was alredy modified for Fiat. there were changes like on picture below.
i check resistor and they were 100 Ohm both. i have no multimeter to check capacitors.

but there was a problem. each time i plug this interface into my car (Punto HGT 1.8 16V Faza3) i receive errors in main computer and CAN bus transmision stuck until i remove elm327 and restart power from key.
also there was a lot of unnecesary lights, gasoline-meter light was blinking and shows no gas.



i decide to broke into elm and remove this additional parts like this:



now everything works fine in my car. i have to test this ELM with other fiat's.

I bought ELM 327 by christianttjones in eBay, that's work for engine but doesn't work in service maintenance reset.

Do you try it in service reset ?
