hi,
I have a different problem with my steering on my stilo . The power steering is working and there is NO power steering light lit up (indicating NO issue). But occasionally when i drive and I am just slightly turning right my steering wheel is like sticking it will move left or right but i get resistance when trying to turn left. It is anoying the hell out of me especially when on a prity straight road (sticking after turning slightly right the car just keeps going right until i turn left with a bit of resistance). I want to give this car to my wife who will drive the kids but i am scare to give it to her with this issue. If i calibrate the steering using the options in Multiecuscan will this fix my issue? has anyone experianced this issue? how should i use the Multiecuscan in detail and which options?

Also i have conneted to the stilo using the modified vag.com lead and cleared the error codes of all modules as there were afew in each module (except ABS) but non of the codes were active except the passenger seat weight sensor issue. which i will look at after this steering issue.

Any help will be greatly appreciated and thankyou in advance for your responses.

Regards

Just a follow up, I have been driving the car now for about a week and no faults come up on any to the modules exept for the airbag which needs the passenger weight sensor looking at.

The steering sticking is getting worse. I have the free version of the Multiecuscan and the vag modified lead. I do not get the options to run configaration on the steering. Is this because i need the full registered version or is it because my lead is wrong and i need the elm lead or both??

Please reply with any help as at the moment i am stuck. Today i am going to get the wheel alaignment complete just to eliminate it.

Most likely you have a problem with the alternator. Check the charging voltage.
