Hey Yani,

i use a normal unmodified Elm Interface on my Alfa 159 JTD and i can only open a connection to the msg/ecu.
Service, Body Computer and so don't work.
Do i have to solder some pins on the interface?

No, you don't have to solder anything for the Body Computer and other CAN modules.
It seems that your ELM interface is not the right version. Try to run the ELM test from the settings window. All commands should have response OK.

If your interface cannot connect to the body comp, you will need to open it and then remove following resistor

Code: Select all

I have the same problem with my ELM.
Test gone through and everything is OK.

Does this change on the resistor need to be done, or do I have something made wrong.
Motor ECU connection is running, but nothing else.

/edit
Just used the search here and found out the thread of Yani, speaking about the "faulty" ELM327.
There you need to solder also the capcitors and resistor, and remove one resistor.
Here it's mentioned to remove only the resistor.
Which is the right way?
