Support for Diamex DX35 Cable

Post by hypfvieh »

Hi there,

I just wanted to ask if it's possible to add support for the Diamex DX35 Diagnostic Cable.

As far as I could see it's communication is pretty much like the one for ELM327.
The bad thing is: it is not fully compatible with ELM327. It only handles a few commands of the ELM Chip and has different names for some other commands.

I just tested the "test" routine of multiecuscan to see whats going on. I added the output, as well as an openoffice-sheet with the ELM commands and equivalent DX35 commands. In addition to this, I added the command reference of the DX35. Sadly this is only available in german, so if you may need a translation, I can do this.

As you can see all unkown commands are answered with "?". Working commands are answered with "OK".
So as I dont know which commands of the ELM you are really using, I just looked for the commands which gets error in the test routine. If you need a more detailed list, let me know.
