Stilo 1.9JTD 8V Service reset

Hi all,
I have the unregistered version 2.3.1 on vista with a ELM327 usb interface (v1.3). When I connect to the service function, and select execute the program responds with something along the line of "unsupported in the unregistered version, will run in simulation mode only". I have checked the features list for 2.3 and confirmed that it should be available for free. My oddometer units are in miles if this makes any difference.
What do I do?

I have tried un-installing, then re-installing the Multiecuscan software which gave the same results. I tried this on a mates Stilo (with same engine and ECU type) with again the same result. The only thing I can see different from the pictures in the useage guide is that my ELM device is on COM5, where as the guide shows COM3. Cannot change COM ports as COM3 is in use by my laptop.
Any thoughts?

I believe that from Version 2.3 onwards Service Resest for all then supported and to be supported cars became a "Registered" supported funnction. With this in mind I think the current web page regarding Stilo service reset is probably wrong. As far as I can recal prior to V2.3 the Stilo was the only car with service reset implememnted in Multiecuscan.
Yani has only just got back from holiday so please give him some time to catch up everything.

Yani, could you confirm whether this feature for the Stilo has been removed from the unregistered version 2.3 onwards?

Matt

s130 is right!
you have to be "
registered" to use this feature - "
Service reset"!
maybe you can install some older version were it is allowing you to do the service reset!
I can’t remember which version is alowing... go to home page than history and there you will find which version is alowing service reset!
