Multiecuscan & Windows ME?

Hello,
I'm new in this forum and I'm new in the topic "Multiecuscan".

I tried to install Multiecuscan at an old Laptop (Windows ME).
After an error-message I updated the Windows Installer, now 2.0
Then I installed "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable".

After that I tried again to install Multiecuscan, now with the following error-message:
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

Is there anyone, who could give me a hint which DLL is wrong?
What can I do?
(I can't change Windows ME to any newer version - it's not my private Laptop)

problem is solved.
I did an Windows update -> XP
