Keep getting latency issues

Everything is working, except for the fact that I keep getting latency issues which cause the connection to be disconnected. I´ve followed the instructions on the how to page and lowered the latency to ´1´. I could really do with some help here.

if you are using the elm device you should keep latecy value as default...

I´m using a so called OBD cable. The advice was to put the latency value of the USB port as low as possible (´1´). Which it is now on, but it still gives latency issues.

Any advice?
