I am trying to disable the start/stop on a 2012 1.4 Multiair Giulietta.
When I try to do the Proxy alignment after changing the Stop/start function to not present I get this error. Body Computer Node (BCM/NBC) FAILED! - Request out of range error.
Here is the log file, can anyone help please?

Don't know for sure, but i think it is not possible to disable stop/start via the proxy configuration.

You can go to an ecu tuner and disable start/stop in the engine ecu.

There may be a away to do this.

Start/Stop even if enabled will not engage for a multitude of reasons in normal operation.

One such reason is the vehicles view of battery charge, not based on voltage but based on current in/out. To do this there is a very low resistance sensor in the negative terminal and the battery post. The vehicle monitors the very small voltages over time across this resistance. If you disconnect the sensor wire (easy to do on a 500X) then the system will initially reset and Start/Stop will work for a short while then eventually it will turn off as the system cannot determine the battery charge state.

Worth a try.
